5.72.010 - Traveling shows, circuses, rodeos and exhibitions.¶
A. No person shall conduct, exhibit or participate in conducting or exhibiting any of the following types of shows or exhibitions without first having procured a license pursuant to this chapter and having paid the license fee hereinafter provided.
B. This section shall apply to:
A traveling show or entertainment, including but not limited to any caravan, museum, menagerie, a collection of animals or circus or any side show;
An exhibition, sporting event, festival, entertainment or show of any character in an auditorium, tent, stadium, or other enclosure, temporary or permanent, or in an unenclosed area, other than in a school or church building whether or not an admission fee is charged or solicited;
An exhibition, commonly known as a rodeo or any similar exhibition under any other name.

5.72.020 - License fees.¶
Every person conducting an activity specified in Section 5.72.010 shall pay a license fee of fifty dollars ($50.00) for each day of operation.

5.72.030 - Fire and other safety regulations.¶
The issuance of a license under the provisions of this chapter shall not suspend or otherwise affect the application of any fire or other safety regulations of the state, fire district, sanitary district, or other political subdivisions of the state which may be in effect in the city.
