3.08.010 - Deposit of moneys—City treasurer duties.¶
All collections of money by any officer or department of the city shall be deposited daily with the city treasurer, who shall thereupon give a receipt for the same; except, that where such collections are made on holidays or other days making the deposit impossible, such deposit shall be made on the next following business day.

3.08.020 - Deposit of moneys—Forms.¶
All of the collections and deposits of money by any officer or department of the city shall be made on forms and financial stationery prescribed by the city manager, and the distribution and use of such forms shall be in the manner prescribed by the city manager.

3.08.030 - Warrants—Approved claims—Director of finance duties.¶
If any claim or demand is approved and allowed by the city council, the director of finance shall draw a warrant upon the city treasurer for the same, which warrant shall be signed by the director of finance and shall specify to whose order the same is drawn and out of what fund it is to be paid.

3.08.040 - Warrants—Treasurer acceptance.¶
Upon presentation to the city treasurer of any warrant drawn and signed as provided in Section 3.08.030, the city treasurer shall accept the same by his signature, and the warrant shall thereupon become a check in payment of the claim or demand for which it is drawn, and shall be delivered to the claimant.
