Daly City Municipal Code Ch. 16.24 Parcel Maps

If dedication(s) are required, such dedication(s) shall be completed prior to recordation of the parcel map.

A. The parcel map shall be submitted to the city engineer to determine completeness and correctness.

B. At the time of submittal, the registered civil engineer or licensed land surveyor shall submit such evidence, field notes and calculations as were used in creating the parcel map.

C. A separate letter will be submitted to the city engineer by each owner, prior to filing, indicating concurrence with the precise land division.

The parcel map, when ready for the signature of the city engineer, shall be submitted with two copies of the original to accurate scale, as follows: The first on opaque linen and the second, a reproducible on linen or polyester-based film. After recordation with the county recorder, the second copy will be returned to the city engineer with the recording data shown thereon. All matters of form, etc., of the parcel map will also be to the requirements of the county recorder of San Mateo County.

At the time of submittal to the city engineer for signature, a nonrefundable fee as established by the city council by resolution shall accompany the parcel map. The fee shall be deposited to the general fund of the city.
