10.22.010 - Statutory authority.

Pursuant to Sections 35400, 35401, 35401.1, 35401.5 and 35701 of the California Vehicle Code, Local Authorities are to determine "terminal access routes" for vehicle combinations as defined in Section 35401.5 of the California Vehicle Code.

10.22.020 - County roads designated as S.T.A.A. "terminal access routes".

Terminal access routes in Calaveras County are as follows:

A. Pool Station Road, No. 10, between State Route 49 and the Calaveras Cement Company Plant;

B. O'Brynes Ferry Road, No. 48, between State Route 4 and the Calaveras Asbestos Company Plant.

10.22.030 - Signing.

All terminal access routes shall be designated by signs designating beginning and end.

10.22.050 - Violations and penalties.

Any person convicted of operating an overlegal length truck as defined in Section 35401.5 of the California Vehicle Code on any county road other than those defined as S.T.A.A. Terminal Access Routes in this chapter and signed accordingly shall be punished by a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars or by imprisonment in the county jail for a period not exceeding five months, or by both that fine and imprisonment.
