1406.4 Field Installations.

The Authority Having Jurisdiction shall compare the field installations with the documentation supplied by the installer to determine the following: (1) The required F ratings (1 hour, 2 hour, 3 hour, or 4 hour)
and T ratings (0 hour, 1 hour, 2 hour, 3 hour, or 4 hour) of the penetration firestop systems are at least the same as the hourly rating of the assembly being penetrated. (2) The penetrating firestop system includes the penetrating
item as documented through testing of the systems conducted by an independent testing agency. (3) The penetrating firestop system is installed as tested.
