§ 53357

Government Code §§ 53311–53368.3 — Mello-Roos Community Facilities Act of 1982 · 2026 edition · updated 2026-07-29 · California

  1. The bonds shall be signed by the chairperson of the legislative body and countersigned by the clerk of the legislative body or his or her deputy. All signatures on the bonds may be printed, lithographed, or engraved. If any officer whose signature appears on the bonds ceases to be that officer before the delivery of the bonds, his or her signature is as effective as if he or she had remained in office. All bonds shall be payable at the office of the treasurer of the local agency or at the office of any agent designated by the local agency.
