36-40 - Generally.¶
Fees for the administration of Butte County's home detention program shall be as adopted by Resolution of the Board of Supervisors as part of the Butte County Master Fee Schedule. Fees are adopted pursuant to Penal Code Section 1206.016.
These fees shall be based upon the offender's ability to pay. Inability to pay shall not preclude participation in the home detention program.
These fees are subject to periodic adjustment based on the United States Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics Employment Cost Index (ECI) for State and Local Government.
