14-100 - Implementation by resolution.¶
The board of supervisors of the County of Butte by resolution may by reference to maps, diagrams or other specifications, identify off-street parking spaces on county-owned or county-operated property, and may provide for time limitations and other restrictions applicable to those spaces. Such limitations and restrictions may relate to reservation of spaces for handicapped persons, limits on the duration of parking, limitations and restrictions regarding day of week and hour of day, and any other limitations and restrictions appropriate to the efficient conduct of county business and the convenience of the public it serves.

14-101 - Sign posting.¶
Any such implementing resolution shall specify, and be effective only upon, the placement of appropriate signs positioned and otherwise designed so as to afford notice of the restrictions and limitations to the users of the parking area. Such signs shall meet the specifications of the California Vehicle Code; and in the case of a resolution providing for the removal of an unauthorized vehicle from a handicapped space, the resolution shall also provide for a warning sign meeting the requirements of the then applicable provision of the California Vehicle Code, presently section 22511.8(d).

14-102 - Infractions.¶
Violations of any such restrictions or limitations are hereby declared to be infractions, punishable as provided in California Vehicle Code sections 42001 and 42001.5(b), or any successor provision thereof applicable to the violation.

14-103 - Citations.¶
All employees of the County of Butte, when directed to do so by their appointing authority or the appointing authority's designated representative, are authorized to issue citations for violations of this article and any implementing resolution.

14-104 - Severability.¶
All provisions of this article are independently enacted and all provisions of any implementing resolutions are to be independently enacted, toward the end that any defect in one (1) or more of these provisions will leave the balance of the provisions in effect.
