2.20.010 - Mayor and city council members.¶
The salaries of the mayor and members of the city council are set at that level which is the maximum allowed for cities of like population under the general law as provided in AB 2281 and such salaries shall be raised upon the effective date of legislation amending those levels.

2.20.011 - Reduction or increase.¶
A. The council may by resolution set a lesser salary than that prescribed by general law cities.
B. The electors of the city may by a majority of the votes in an election upon the issue, set a salary at a greater or lesser sum than that for general law cities.
C. Any initiative measure submitted for such purpose shall specify the dollar amount of such salary.
