The City of Belvedere declares that it desires to qualify to receive aid from the State of California under the provisions of Chapter 1 of Title 4, Part 4 of the California Penal Code. (Ord. 166 NS § 1, 1971; prior code § 2-1.1.)

2.12.020 Adherence to standards.

Pursuant to Section 13522 of said Chapter 1, the City of Belvedere, while receiving aid from the State pursuant to said Chapter 1, will adhere to the standards for recruitment and training established by the California Commission on Peace Officers Standards and Training. (Ord. 166 NS § 2, 1971; prior code § 2-1.1.)
