5.56.010 - Permit—Required.

No person shall own, operate or conduct a skating rink within the city without first obtaining a permit so to do.

5.56.020 - Permit—Application.

Application for a permit required by the preceding section shall be made in writing to the city council and shall state the exact location of the place for which the permit is sought and the name of the person who is to conduct and be in charge of the same.

5.56.030 - Permit—Authority to grant or refuse.

Upon receiving an application under the preceding section, the city council shall have the power either to grant or refuse the permit, as it may elect in each instance.

5.56.040 - Permit—Consent required.

No permit shall issue to any person to operate any skating rink within three hundred feet of any residence or place of business, unless the applicant therefor shall first have filed with the city clerk the written consent of all residents residing within the restricted distance of three hundred feet.

5.56.050 - Hours of operation.

No person shall keep open or operate any skating rink in the city between the hours of 11:00 P.M. and 6:00 A.M. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday, or between 12:00 midnight on Saturday and 6:00 A.M. on Monday of any week.
