10.28.010 - Trip reduction program.

Beginning July 1, 1994, employers in unincorporated Alameda County shall be subject to Regulation 13, Rule 1, Trip Reduction Requirements for Large Employers (adopted by the Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD) December 16, 1992) and any amendments thereto. For purposes of achieving conformance with the Alameda County Congestion Management Program (CMP) adopted October 1991 and amended October 1993), the BAAQMD's Regulation 13, Rule 1, and any amendments thereto, shall constitute the trip reduction program for the unincorporated area of the county. Whereas the BAAQMD has stated its intent to implement Regulation 13, Rule 1, beginning July 1, 1994 in local jurisdictions that have not received delegation of the rule by that date, such as the county of Alameda, the

BAAQMD shall retain responsibility for the administration and enforcement of the rule until such time the county accepts delegation.
