10.74.010 - Penalty for violation.¶
(a) Any person violating any of the provisions of this title is guilty of an infraction. Every violation is punishable by:
(1) A fine not exceeding fifty dollars for a first violation;
(2) A fine not exceeding one hundred dollars for a second violation of the same section within one year;
(3) A fine not exceeding two hundred fifty dollars for each additional violation of the same section within one year.
(b) Not withstanding the provisions as set forth in subsection (a), any violations of this title relating to an offense for standing or parking a vehicle shall be a civil penalty in an amount determined by resolution of the city council and enforced in the manner required by the Vehicle Code of the state of California and the administrative rules and regulations adopted by the city relating thereto.
