10.20.010 - Special speed zones.¶
Those streets and parts of streets designated by resolution of the city council shall constitute special speed zones, when posted, as provided by law or this Title, or both.

10.20.020 - Thirty-five miles per hour on U.S. Highway 99.¶
It is unlawful for any person to drive or operate a motor vehicle upon any portion of the access road formerly designated U.S. Highway 99 from the city limits at the Greenhorn Road intersection to the termination of the access road at the Oberlin Road extension, at a speed in excess of thirty-five miles per hour.

10.20.040 - Thirty-five miles per hour on Fairlane Road.¶
It is unlawful for any person to drive or operate a motor vehicle upon any portion of Fairlane Road from its intersection with Oberlin Road to the southerly limits of the city at a speed in excess of thirty-five miles per hour.

10.20.050 - Main Street speed zones.¶
It is unlawful for any person to drive or operate a motor vehicle upon any portion of the following designated areas on Main Street in the city in excess of the speeds as hereinafter set forth:
(1) Forty-Five Mile per Hour Speed Zone: Those portions of South Main Street from the intersection of the southerly city limits and Main Street to the northerly boundary of the lot designated as 1260 South Main Street.
(2) Thirty-Five Mile per Hour Speed Zone:
(a) Those portions of Main Street commencing from the northerly boundary of the lot designated as 1260 South Main Street to the northerly boundary of the lot designated as 940 South Main Street;
(b) A portion of Main Street commencing at the northerly boundary of a certain lot designated as 501 North Main Street to the intersection of Main Street and the northerly boundary of the city limits of the city.
(3) Twenty-Five Mile per Hour Speed Zone: That portion of Main Street commencing at the northerly boundary of that certain lot designated as 940 South Main Street to the northerly boundary of that certain lot designated as 501 North Main Street.

10.20.060 - Thirty-five miles per hour on Greenhorn Road.¶
It is unlawful for any person to drive or operate a motor vehicle upon any portion of Greenhorn Road from its intersection with South Main Street to the intersection of said road with the westerly city boundary, at a speed in excess of thirty-five miles per hour.

10.20.070 - Speed restrictions on Foothill Drive.¶
It is unlawful for any person to drive or operate a motor vehicle on any of the following portions of Foothill Drive in excess of the speeds as hereinafter set forth:
(1) Foothill Drive from its intersection with Phillips Lane to a point two miles northeast of the intersection of said street with East Lennox Street: forty-five miles per hour.
(2) Foothill Drive from a point two miles northeast of East Lennox Street to Kleaver Street: thirty-five miles per hour.
(3) Foothill Drive from Kleaver Street to Main Street: twenty-five miles per hour.

10.20.080 - Howard Alley—Fifteen miles per hour.¶
It is unlawful for any person to drive or operate a motor vehicle on Howard Alley at a speed in excess of fifteen miles per hour.

10.20.090 - Speed restrictions on Oberlin Road.¶
It is unlawful for any person to drive or operate a motor vehicle on any of the following portions of Oberlin Road in excess of the speeds as hereinafter set forth:
(1) For eastbound traffic on Oberlin Road from a point four hundred feet east of Mill Road to the Yreka city limits: forty-five miles per hour;
(2) For westbound traffic on Oberlin Road from the Yreka city limits to a point four hundred feet east of Mill Road: forty-five miles per hour;
(3) For westbound traffic on Oberlin Road from a point four hundred feet east of Mill Road to Main Street: thirty-five miles per hour.

10.20.100 - Speed restrictions on Westside Road.¶
It is unlawful for any person to drive or operate a motor vehicle upon any portion of Westside Road from its intersection with S. Main Street (State Route 3) to the intersection of said road with the southerly city boundary, at any speed in excess of forty-five miles per hour.
