10.28.010 Driving through funeral procession prohibited.

No driver of a vehicle shall drive between vehicles comprising a funeral procession while they are in motion and when the vehicles in such procession are conspicuously so designated. (Ord. 50 §40, 1951).

10.28.020 Driving on sidewalk prohibited.

The driver of a vehicle shall not drive within any sidewalk area or any parkway except at a permanent or temporary driveway. (Ord. 50 §42, 1951).

10.28.030 Driving on new pavement or paint--Prohibited when marked.

No person shall ride or drive any animal or any vehicle over or across any newly made pavement or freshly painted marking in any street when a barrier or sign is in place warning persons not to drive over or across such pavement or marking, or when a sign is in place stating that the street or any portion thereof is closed. (Ord. 50 §43, 1951).

10.28.040 Trains--Speed limit.

No person shall drive or operate any railroad train within the city at a speed in excess of forty-five miles per hour. (Ord. 50 §44, 1951).

10.28.050 Driving on private property.

It is unlawful to drive any motor vehicle in the city across private property or public property not dedicated for general public use, or driveways other than the owner thereof, to evade traffic regulations, traffic congestion, or the use of established roadways. (Ord. 320 §1, 1987).

10.28.060 Restrictions on use of sidewalks in commercial zones.

It shall be unlawful for any person to drive, operate, ride, use, park, or leave a bicycle, roller skates, skateboard, coaster, toy vehicle, wagon, or similar device on any public sidewalk or pedestrian area in any commercially zoned area. Any violation as set forth in this section shall be deemed an infraction. (Ord. 323 §5, 1987).

10.28.070 Horses and livestock on public streets restricted.

It shall be unlawful for anyone to ride, lead, herd, corral, tether or allow any horses or livestock or other animals not specifically otherwise authorized upon any public street, park or sidewalk if the animals are not confined within a truck or trailer intended for conveying animals except upon the issuance of a permit or except for horses used by law enforcement personnel as part of their enforcement duties. (Ord. 623 §1, 2012).
