§ 10.20.010. City manager to sign one-way streets, one-way roadways, yield right-of-way…

Whenever this code, any ordinance, or resolution of this city designates any one-way street, one-way roadway, yield right-of-way area or alley, the city manager shall place and maintain signs giving notice thereof, and no such regulations shall be effective unless such signs are in place. Signs indicating the direction of lawful traffic movement shall be placed at every intersection where movement of traffic in the opposite direction is prohibited.

§ 10.20.020. Traffic regulations on Euclid Avenue—Northbound traffic.

It is intended by this section to make each of said driveways a one-way highway or driveway as provided for in the Vehicle Code of the state. This section shall apply to Euclid Avenue and to the East Driveway and West Driveway for the full length of such avenue between the south limits of the city and the north limits thereof at 24th Street. Accordingly, between the south boundary of the city on Euclid Avenue to 24th Street, on its north boundary, all vehicular traffic on East Driveway is strictly limited to only northbound traffic, and only vehicles going in a northerly direction on Euclid Avenue may utilize East Driveway; and, all southbound vehicular traffic thereon is strictly forbidden and made unlawful.

§ 10.20.030. Traffic regulations on Euclid Avenue—Southbound traffic.

Similarly, all vehicular traffic on the West Driveway for the entire length of Euclid Avenue within the limits of the city shall be utilized only by southbound traffic; and only vehicles going in a southerly direction on Euclid Avenue may utilize West Driveway, and all northbound vehicular traffic thereon is strictly forbidden and made unlawful.

§ 10.20.040. Through streets, intersection streets or alleys.

In relation to any and all streets or alleys (that intersect or open upon the streets or parts thereof which hereinbefore are declared to be through streets or boulevards) and not herein described specifically by name, letter or number, it is intended thereby to refer to and to mean any and all of such streets or alleys laid out or established as such by the public or dedicated or abandoned to the public or intended or used by or for the general public and all as shown by the maps or plats thereof contained in the official records of the county of San Bernardino and state of California, or in the records of the city, and all as commonly shown or designated in the maps or plats of the city.
