350-010 - AUTHORITY

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 1203.1b(e) of the California Penal Code, the provisions of Section 1203.1b of the California Penal Code shall be operative in Sutter County; and a procedure is hereby established whereby in any case in which a defendant is convicted of an offense and granted probation, the court may, after hearing, make a determination of the ability of the defendant to pay all or a portion of the reasonable costs of probation; and of conducting the presentence investigation and preparing the presentence report made pursuant to Section 1203 of the California Penal Code.

350-020 - COST

The Board of Supervisors may adopt from time to time by resolution a payment schedule for reimbursement of the reasonable cost of probation or of any of the components thereof. The reasonable cost of probation shall not exceed the amount determined to be the actual average cost thereof.

350-030 - ALLOCATION OF RECEIPTS

All sums paid by a defendant to the county pursuant to Section 1203.1b of the California Penal Code shall be allocated for the operating expenses of the Sutter County Probation Department.
