Shafter Municipal Code Ch. 6.64 Resisting Authorized Personnel

A. No person shall obstruct or interfere with the animal control officer, police officer, or other authorized personnel in the performance of duties under this title or aid or abet others in so doing.

B. No person shall remove or attempt to remove any animal taken into custody by the animal control officer, police officer, or other authorized personnel without authorization.

C. No person shall cause or aid the escape of any animal sought for custody by the animal control officer, police officer, or other authorized personnel or aid and abet others in doing so.

D. Any person who commits any act prohibited by this section is guilty of a misdemeanor.
