2.18.010 - Findings.

It is hereby found, determined and declared pursuant to Section 33101 of the Health and Safety Code of the state that there is a need for the redevelopment agency created by Section 33100 of said Code to function in the city, and said agency is authorized to transact business and exercise its powers under the Community Redevelopment Law of the State of California (Health and Safety Code § 33000 et seq.).

2.18.020 - City council to act as agency.

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 33200 of the Health and Safety Code, the city council hereby declares itself to be said agency, and all the functions, rights, powers, duties, privileges, and immunities vested by the Community Redevelopment Law in said agency shall be vested in the city council.

2.18.030 - Executive director.

The city council hereby appoints the city administrator to serve as executive director of the redevelopment agency.
