2.08.010 - Established.

There is hereby established the office of director of finance of the city.

2.08.020 - Powers and duties.

The director of finance shall have the following powers and duties:

A. Countersign all city warrants;

B. Certify or approve payrolls or attendance records of all officers and employees of the city not otherwise approved by the department heads;

C. Coordinate and/or prepare financial reports and treasurer's reports and submit them to the city clerk for submission to the council;

D. Coordinate and prepare and keep all financial records of the city;

E. All those powers and duties set forth in Chapter 4, Title 4, Division 3, Part 2 of the Government Code and any other applicable laws of the state;

F. Perform such other functions as may from time to time be delegated by the city clerk or the council.
