15.60.010 Authority.

This chapter is adopted pursuant to Article 1A of Chapter 5 of Title 25 of the California Administrative Code (herein Article 1A). The requirements of this chapter are cumulative and in addition to any other requirements of the city code or city ordinances relating to mobilehomes. (Prior code § 9.15.500)

15.60.020 Permit required.

No person shall install a mobilehome, which is required by the state of California to be moved under a permit, on any site within the city for the purpose of human habitation or occupancy as a dwelling without first obtaining a permit from the director therefor.

Failure to obtain a permit before starting work on the installation of a mobilehome shall be considered a willful violation of this code and shall be punishable as a misdemeanor. (Prior code § 9.15.501)

15.60.030 Permit application.

Any person desiring a permit required under Section 15.60.020 of this chapter shall submit an application for said permit to the director on a form to be provided by him. The application shall

comply with Section 5078.1 of Article 1A of the California Administrative Code. (Prior code § 9.15.502)

15.60.040 Permit fees.

The fees for processing the permit application and inspecting each installation site pursuant to this section shall be as established by resolution of the city council.

Such fees shall be due and payable to the revenue and collections office at the time the application form required under Section 15.60.030 of this chapter is submitted to the director. Where any work is started prior to obtaining a permit such fees shall be quadrupled as a penalty. (Prior code § 9.15.503)

15.60.050 Reinspection fee.

If the proposed installation fails to comply with the regulations under Article 1A of the California Administrative Code or with any applicable city ordinances or resolutions, a reinspection fee established by resolution of the city council shall be payable in advance of each reinspection necessary. (Prior code § 9.15.504)
