Rio Vista Municipal Code Ch. 2.21 Planning Commission

In addition to the general provisions outlined in Chapter 2.20, the planning commission shall have all of the powers and duties prescribed by city ordinance and state statute, including, but not necessarily limited to, the Planning and Zoning Law (Government Code Section 65000, et seq.), the Subdivision Map Act (Government Code Section 66410, et seq.), the California Environmental Quality Act (Public Resources Code Section 21000, et seq.), the city zoning ordinance (Title 17 of this code), and the city subdivision ordinance (Title 16 of this code).

The planning commission consists of seven regular members.

In addition to the commission's regular members, there will be one non-voting youth commissioner position.

A. This position will be for a regular non-voting member who is currently attending within the designated boundaries specified by the River Delta Unified School District (RDUSD) as "trustee" areas 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, and 7.

B. This position shall be filled at the commission's discretion and request.

C. This position has a one-year term, which term is not bound as stipulated in Section 2.20.040: subsections A, B, and C of this code.
