Sec. 2.33.1. - AUTHORITY OF CITY TREASURER TO INVEST UNENCUMBERED FUNDS:

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 34 of the Charter of the City, the City Treasurer is hereby authorized to invest such public monies of the City as are not required for immediate expenditure in such securities or other certificates of indebtedness as are provided by law for the investment of public funds, generally. Such authority shall include the power to sell or exchange such securities and reinvest the proceeds thereof.

Sec. 2.33.2. - REPORT OF AUTHORIZED TRANSACTIONS REQUIRED:

The City Treasurer shall make a detailed written report to the Council of all investment transactions authorized by this Article on the last day of each calendar month during which any public monies are so invested.

Sec. 2.33.3. - RESPONSIBILITY OF CITY TREASURER FOR TRANSACTIONS:

In the event the authority granted by this Article is exercised, the City Treasurer shall assume full responsibility for the transactions, authorized hereunder until such authority is revoked by this Council.
