Sec. 5-20.01. - Posting of prices of motor vehicle fuels.¶
Every person, firm, partnership, association, trustee, receiver, corporation, or assignee for the benefit of creditors, who owns, operates, manages, leases, or rents, a place of business which abuts or is adjacent to any street or highway and at which gasoline or other motor vehicle fuel is sold, offered for sale, or otherwise dispensed to the public, shall post or display and maintain at such place of business a sign or other advertising medium, clearly visible from each abutting or adjacent street or highway, which indicates or shows the actual price per gallon, including all taxes, at which each grade of gasoline or other motor vehicle fuel is currently being sold, offered for sale, or otherwise dispensed at such place of business.

Sec. 5-20.02. - Motor vehicle fuels to be available at posted prices.¶
No person, firm, partnership, association, trustee, receiver, corporation, or assignee for the benefit of creditors, who owns, operates, manages, leases, or rents a place of business at which gasoline or other motor vehicle fuel is sold to the public, shall advertise, by means of any sign or other advertising medium, the price of any grade of gasoline or other motor vehicle fuel which is not immediately available to be sold or dispensed to the public at such place of business at such advertised price.

Sec. 5-20.03. - Changes in motor vehicle fuel prices to be posted prior to sale.¶
No change shall be made in the price of any grade of gasoline or other motor vehicle fuel which is offered for sale, sold, or otherwise dispensed to the public at such place of business without such change being first indicated or shown on a sign or other advertising medium, as required in Section 5-20.01 of this chapter.

Sec. 5-20.04. - Compliance with provisions of Article 8 of Chapter 7 of Division 8 of…¶
Each sign or other advertising medium posted, displayed, and mailed pursuant to the requirements of Section 5-20.01 of this chapter shall comply with the provisions of Article 8 of Chapter 7 of Division 8 of the Business and Professions Code of the State.

Sec. 5-20.05. - Enforcement.¶
The provisions of this chapter shall be enforced by the Director of Community Development.
