Moraga Municipal Code § 13 Penalties

It is unlawful for a person to perform any work or cause or permit the same to be done, contrary to or in violation of a provision in Sections 78-1.101 - 78-1.711 of the County Ordinance Code as adopted by reference or a provision of the 1979 Edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code.

A person who violates a provision in Sections 78-1.101 - 78-1.711 of the County Ordinance Code as adopted by reference or a provision of the 1979 Edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code is guilty of an infraction as provided by Government Code Section 36900(b) and is guilty of a separate offense for each and every day or portion of a day during which a violation is committed, continued or permitted. Upon conviction of a violation, a person is punishable by a fine of not more than $50 for the first violation, $100 for a second violation within 1 year of the first violation and $250 for each additional violation within 1 year of the first violation.
