9.16.010 Violation Of Ordinance A Misdemeanor

Every person, not the owner thereof, who willfully injures, disfigures, defaces, or destroys any property, object or thing of historical interest or value, whether situated on private lands or within any public park or place, is guilty of a misdemeanor.

9.16.020 Thing Of Historical Interest Or Value Defined

For purposes of this chapter, a "thing of historical interest or value" shall include but not be limited to the buildings or structures identified in the "Mariposa County List of Buildings and Structures With Special Historical or Architectural Significance/Completed Edition, 1988" which was duly adopted by the Mariposa County board of supervisors on the 17th day of May 1988 as Resolution No. 88-321.
