§ 2.17.010. Contract.

A contract between the city council of the city of King and the Board of Administration, California Public Employees’ Retirement System is authorized, a copy of said contract marked “Exhibit A” is on file in the office of the city clerk, and by reference made a part hereof as though herein set out in full.

§ 2.17.020. Execution of contract.

The mayor of the city of King is authorized, empowered and directed to execute said contract for and on behalf of said agency.

§ 2.17.030. Operative date—Contract with state.

This chapter shall take effect thirty days after the date of its adoption, and prior to the expiration of thirty days from the passage thereof shall be published at least once in the Rustler, a newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in the city of King and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.

§ 2.17.040. First amendment to contract.

An amendment to the contract between the city council of the city and the Board of Administration, California Public Employees’ Retirement System, referred to in Section 2.17.010 above, is authorized; said amendment being set forth in the document marked “Amendment to Contract,” on file in the office of the city clerk as an attachment to said contract, and by reference made a part hereof as though herein set out in full.
