14.26.340 - Plan approval.

A. The chief engineer shall approve the plans for stormwater system construction or modification only if it appears to the chief engineer that such construction or modification conforms to current county standards and the requirements of this chapter.

B. All plans submitted to the chief engineer for approval shall be of such detail to describe fully the proposed stormwater facility. The plans shall have been prepared under the supervision of and shall be signed by an engineer of suitable training registered in the State of California.

C. The approval of plans shall not relieve the discharger of any duty imposed upon him pursuant to this chapter.

D. Approval of plans for stormwater system construction or modification are not transferrable from one person to another person or from one location to another location.

14.26.350 - Illicit connections prohibited.

Any person that connects to or modifies an existing county stormwater system without the prior approval of the chief engineer is in violation of this chapter.
