2.04.010 - Council meetings.¶
There shall be two regular meetings of the city council and all of its agencies during each calendar month and such meetings shall be held on the second and fourth Wednesdays thereof, at the hour of six p.m. provided, however, that if the date of any such regular meeting falls on a holiday, said regular meeting may not be held that holiday, but may be canceled or re-scheduled, as deemed necessary. The meetings will be held in the city council chambers at city hall or at such other places within the city limits of the city as the city council may, from time to time, provide. Any regular meeting may be adjourned from time to time, and special meetings may be called in the manner provided by law.

2.04.020 - Meetings—Place.¶
The meeting place for the city council shall be at 5050 North Irwindale Avenue, city of Irwindale, county of Los Angeles, California.

2.04.030 - Councilmen—Reimbursement.¶
Upon the submission of an itemized account, any councilman may be reimbursed for his actual and necessary expenses incurred in the performance of official duty.

2.04.031 - Reserved.¶

2.04.040 - Councilmembers—Salary.¶
Each member of the city council shall receive a salary in the amount of seven hundred fifty dollars and sixteen cents per month.

2.04.050 - Election of mayor and mayor pro tempore.¶
The city council shall elect one of its members to be mayor and one of its members to be mayor pro-tempore as specified below:
A. At a regular meeting of the council held in December, or at a regular meeting of the council at which the results of a municipal election are canvassed or certified.
B. At such other times as a majority of the council shall so order.
