10.08.010 - Marlette and Sacramento Streets.

A. No motor vehicle shall stand or park on or upon the central twenty-four feet of Marlette or Sacramento Streets, within the incorporated limits of the city, or on the north side of the 200 block of E. Marlette Street.

B. The provisions of this section regulating the standing or parking of vehicles shall not apply to any vehicle of a city department or public utility while necessarily in use for construction or repair work.

10.08.020 - East side of South Church Street.

A. Parking of automotive vehicles on the east side of South Church Street from its intersection with East Main Street and running southerly forty-five feet from such intersection is prohibited.

B. The stopping of automotive vehicles in such prohibited parking area is limited to the reasonable time required for loading and unloading persons and property.

10.08.025 - State Highway 104.

A. It is unlawful to stand or park any motor vehicle, at any time on the north side of State Highway 104 from the east side of Collins Road to the west side of the entrance to the California Department of Forestry Fire Academy and on the south side of State Highway 104 from the east prolongation line of Collins Road to the west prolongation line of the California Department of Forestry entrance; except that, pursuant to Section 22506 of the California Vehicle Code and subject to written prior approval of the California Department of Transportation where appropriate, the area twenty-five feet east and twenty-five feet west of the Preston Monument shall be subject to a ten-minute parking limitation.

B. The provisions of this section regulating the standing or parking of vehicles shall not apply to any vehicle of a state, county, or city agency or a public utility while in use for construction, maintenance or repair activities.

10.08.030 - South side of West Main Street.

A. Parking of automotive vehicles on the south side of West Main Street from its intersection with South Buena Vista Street and running westerly twenty-seven feet from such intersection is prohibited.

B. The stopping of automotive vehicles in such prohibited area is limited to the reasonable time required for loading and unloading persons and property.

10.08.035 - Poppy Lane.

It is unlawful to park any motor vehicle, at any time, on the west and north sides of Poppy Lane, from its intersection with Shakeley Lane to its intersection with Edgebrook Drive.

10.08.040 - Shakeley Lane.

A. No motor vehicle shall stand or park upon an area which is within twelve feet on either side of the centerline of Shakeley Lane, from its junction with Preston Avenue to Oak Street.

B. The provisions of this section regulating the standing or parking of vehicles shall not apply to any vehicle of a city department or public utility while necessarily in use for construction or repair work.

10.08.045 - Waterman Road.

It is unlawful to park motor vehicles, at any time, on the south side of Waterman Road, beginning at a point five hundred eighty-one feet east from the centerline of Preston Avenue to the city limits, and on the north side of Waterman Road, from a point beginning from the east side of Palm Drive to the westerly boundary of the Preston parking lot, and from a point beginning on the east side of Preston's main entrance to the city limits.

10.08.050 - Preston Avenue.

It is unlawful to park motor vehicles, at any time, on Preston Avenue, from the northeast corner of Main and Preston Avenue northbound to edge of bridge.

10.08.055 - Preston Avenue.

It is unlawful to park any motor vehicle, at any time, on Preston Avenue (SR 104) from the intersection of Main Street and Preston Avenue to the intersection of Preston Avenue and SR 124/Shakeley Lane.

10.08.060 - East side of Church Street.

It is unlawful to park motor vehicles, at any time, on the east side of Church Street, from its intersection with Main Street, and thence seventy-two feet southerly.

10.08.065 - South Church Street.

It is unlawful to park any commercial vehicle over six feet high at any time on either side of SR 124, also known as South Church Street, from the intersection of South Church Street and Main to the entrance to Howard Park. This section applies only to commercial vehicles.

10.08.070 - West side of Ione Street.

It is unlawful to park motor vehicles, at any time, on the west side of Ione Street, from its intersection with Main Street and thence forty-eight feet southerly.

10.08.075 - Amador rapid transit stop.

It is unlawful to park a motor vehicle, at any time, on the east side of Church Street from the intersection of Church and Main Streets to a distance on Church Street forty-five feet south from said intersection.

10.08.080 - West side of Church Street.

It is unlawful to park motor vehicles, at any time, on the west side of Church Street, from its intersection with Main Street and thence thirty feet southerly.

10.08.085 - Park side of Oakridge Circle.

It is unlawful to park motor vehicles, at any time, on the park side of Oakridge Circle.

10.08.090 - Certain portion of Depot Road.

A. Pursuant to California Vehicle Code section 22507 local authorities may prohibit parking of vehicles upon city streets. Pursuant to said authority it is unlawful to park any vehicle upon the following portion of Depot Road within the city: Within fifteen feet of the centerline of Depot Road beginning at a point three hundred fifty-two feet southerly of the centerline of Marlette Street and extending to a point five hundred sixty-seven feet southerly of said centerline of Marlette Street.

10.08.095 - Penalty for violation.

The penalty for violation of any section in this article is an infraction as prescribed in Section 1.08.030 of the Ione Municipal Code.
