§ 2.10.010. Office created.¶
The office of clerk of the board of supervisors is hereby established.

§ 2.10.020. Appointment of clerk of the board of supervisors.¶
The clerk of the board of supervisors shall be appointed by the board of supervisors to serve at the pleasure of the board. The salary and other compensation of the clerk of the board of supervisors shall be established by the board of supervisors.

§ 2.10.030. Duties.¶
The clerk of the board of supervisors shall perform those duties prescribed by law for the county clerk as ex officio clerk of the board of supervisors, or for the clerk of the board of supervisors, together with such additional duties as may be from time to time prescribed by ordinance by the board of supervisors.

§ 2.10.040. Attendance at meetings of board—Keeping of minutes and records.¶
The clerk of the board of supervisors shall attend all meetings of the board of supervisors and shall keep and maintain all minutes, resolutions and other records of the actions of the board of supervisors.

§ 2.10.050. Take acknowledgments and administer oaths.¶
The clerk of the board of supervisors may take acknowledgments and administer oaths in the performance of their official duties.
