OFFICE OF COUNTY AGRICULTURAL COMMISSION AND COUNTY SEALER OF WEIGHTS AND MEASURES
§ 2.97.010. Office created.¶
Pursuant to Government Code Section 24300, the duties of the county agricultural commissioner and the county sealer of weights and measures are combined into one office. The title of that officer shall be county agricultural commissioner/sealer of weights and measures. (Ord. 979 § 3, 1997)
§ 2.97.020. Waiver of residency requirement.¶
Pursuant to Government Code Section 24001, the best interest of the county is served by waiving the requirement that the county agricultural commissioner/sealer of weights and measures be a resident of Inyo County.

§ 2.97.030. Mosquito abatement and control duties.¶
The county agricultural commissioner/sealer of weights and measures shall be responsible for the performance of mosquito abatement and control functions as set forth in Chapter 2.98 of this code.
