Imperial Municipal Code § 2-4 Special Gas Tax Street Improvement Fund

Chapter 1, Division 1 of the Streets and Highways Code, with particular reference to section 2113 thereof, there is hereby created in the City Treasury a special fund to be known as the “Special Gas Tax Street Improvement Fund.”

All money received by the city from the state under the provisions of the Street and Highways Code for the acquisition of real property or interest therein for, or the construction, maintenance or improvement of streets or highways other than state highways shall be paid into such fund. All money in such fund shall be expended exclusively for the purpose authorized by, and subject to all of the provisions of Article 5, Chapter 1, Division 1 of the Streets and Highways Code. That an amendment to the contract between the City Council of the City of Imperial and the Board of Administration, California Public Employees’ Retirement System is hereby authorized, a copy of said amendment being attached hereto, marked Exhibit, and by such reference made a part hereof as though set out in full.

The Mayor of the City is hereby authorized and empowered, and directed to execute said
amendment for and on behalf of said Agency.
