8.33.010 - Designation of fire lanes.

A. When the fire chief has designated an area of a public right-of-way as a fire lane, the public works department shall provide the signs and markings set forth in Section 10.32.050(I).

B. When the fire chief has designated an area of a privately-owned roadway, access drive, or parking lot or facility as a fire lane, the owner of such property shall provide the signs and markings set forth in Section 10.32.050(I). Such signs and markings shall be approved by the fire chief.
