8.20.010 - Standards for safety, welfare.

No person, firm or corporation shall undertake, arrange or contract for the purpose of conducting any special public event, gathering or congregation, the creation, operation and supplying of public facilities for refreshment or sanitation unless such facilities comply with the following minimums:

A. Refreshment Stands. All booths, stands and other structures used for dispensing foods and refreshment are constructed in accordance with standard practices as regulated by the building and fire codes of this town and the approval of the building department and the Central County Fire.

B. Plumbing and Electrical. All installations of plumbing, water supply and disposal, and all electrical equipment, fixtures and wiring comply with standard practices as regulated by the building code and the approval of the building inspector.

C. Grandstands and Reviewing Stands. All bleachers, reviewing stands and/or grandstands are constructed in accordance with the regulations set forth in the building code and a permit issued by the building inspector.

D. Privies and Public Toilets. For all public events where due to the length or character of the program or the fact that food and refreshments are served, a provision for public sanitation is required and may be supplied either through existing facilities in adjacent structures, or by special temporary structures of a size and location adequate to comply with the standards set forth in the building code.
