15.20.010 - Adoption.¶
Except as provided in this Chapter, the 2025 California Mechanical Code based on the 2024 Uniform Mechanical Code as published by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials, is hereby adopted by reference and shall become the mechanical code of the City, regulating and controlling the design, construction, installation, quality of materials, location, operation, and maintenance of heating, ventilating, cooling, refrigeration system, incinerators and other miscellaneous heat producing appliances. One copy of all the above codes and standards therefore are on file in the Office of the City Clerk and are made available for public inspection.
