Sec. 20-107. - Purpose.¶
This article establishes the El Centro Successor Housing Agency.

Sec. 20-108. - Scope.¶
(a) The successor housing agency shall fulfill the functions of a housing authority as authorized by Health & Safety Code sections 33000 et seq.
(b) Pursuant to Health & Safety Code section 34176, the successor housing agency is designated as the successor to the redevelopment agency of the city with respect to the housing assets and functions previously performed by the redevelopment agency. The successor housing agency shall commence to exist simultaneously with the dissolution of the redevelopment agency.
