2.08.160 - Creation.¶

The office of clerk of the city council of the city is created.

2.08.170 - Appointment by city council.¶

The clerk of the city council shall be appointed by the city council of the city.

2.08.180 - Duties of the clerk of the city council.¶

The clerk of the city council shall perform those duties prescribed by general law, by this code and by ordinances and resolutions of the city council, and all other duties prescribed by the city council. The clerk of the city council shall serve as the executive officer of the city council and shall be responsible for the supervision, control and direction of the city council's office.
