10.08.080 - Loading zones described—Parking prohibited.

The portions of city streets, roads, avenues, ways, places or other thoroughfares and highways and portions thereof hereinafter described in this article are loading zones.

It is unlawful for the operator to park or leave standing any vehicle, whether attended or unattended, in that space adjacent to the curb on any of the portions of streets and roads described in this article where appropriate signs and markings are installed and maintained as provided in Section 10.08.090 of this code for a period of time longer than is reasonably necessary for the loading or unloading of passengers or freight.

10.08.090 - Signs and markings.

Loading zones shall be indicated by the city engineer and/or director of public works on the portions of city streets and roads hereafter described in this article by placing and maintaining yellow paint with "Loading Zone" stenciled in four-inch black letters upon the entire curb surface within each area so designated or by placing and maintaining adequate signs at each end of the curb surface included in the area so designated.
