Sec. 6-3A.601. - Discharge fees.¶
(a) A discharge fee is hereby assessed upon all liquid waste haulers. The discharge fee shall be as established by resolution of the City Council and as may be amended from time to time.
(b) The discharge fee assessed pursuant to this section shall not be a fee imposed as an incident of property ownership but shall be one that varies with the measure of tank capacity and amount of hauled liquid waste discharged.
(c) Monthly billings will be presented to haulers based on the number of loads discharged to the City sewer system and the amount discharged. Billings will be mailed to the hauler promptly at the end of each calendar month, and payment from the hauler shall be made within fifteen (15) days of the billing date, after which it will be deemed delinquent. Payment by check or money order shall be made payable to City. Delinquent payment of the waste hauler fee shall be grounds for termination of the hauler's waste hauler permit. There shall be a ten (10) percent surcharge assessed upon all delinquent fees.

Sec. 6-3A.602. - Waste hauler permit fees.¶
An annual liquid waste hauler permit fee is hereby assessed upon each vehicle hauling liquid waste by all liquid waste haulers to the City discharge location. The fee shall be for a calendar year permit, that is not pro-rateable, and is due and payable before the hauler can discharge in a new calendar year. The purpose of the permit fee is to defray laboratory and administrative costs incurred by City as a result of processing liquid wastes.
