2.36.010 - Need declared.¶
It is found and declared pursuant to Section 33101 of the Health and Safety Code, that there is a need for the redevelopment agency created by such Section 33100 to function in the city, and such agency is authorized to transact business and exercise its powers, under the Community Redevelopment Law.

2.36.020 - Council designated agency.¶
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 33200 of the Health and Safety Code, the city council declares itself to be the agency provided in Section 2.36.010 in this chapter, and all the rights, powers, duties, privileges and immunities vested by the Community Redevelopment Law in such agency shall be, and are, vested in this city council.
