2-2.1 Date Established for General Municipal Elections.

Pursuant to Government Code Section 36503.5, all general municipal elections hereafter held in the City of Clearlake shall be on the same day as the Statewide General Election, as that date may be established by State law. (Ord. #21, S1)

2-2.2 Definitions.

POLITICAL SIGN shall mean a temporary sign announcing, supporting or opposing candidates or issues in connection with any Federal, State or local election. PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY shall mean and includes, but is not limited to, streets, sidewalks, utility poles, street signs, traffic control devices, drainage facilities and other similar public facilities.
