15.40.010 - Uniform Housing Code.

A. There is adopted by reference by the council, for the purpose of prescribing minimum requirements for the protection of life, limb, health, property, safety and welfare of the general public and the owners and occupants that certain code identified as the Uniform Housing Code (U.H.C.), including the appendix, published by the International Conference of Building Officials.

B. A copy of such code has been and is now on file in the office of the community and economic development department.

15.40.020 - Violation—Penalty.

No person shall erect, construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move, improve, remove, convert, demolish, equip, use, occupy, or maintain any building or structure in the city, or cause or permit the same to be done, contrary to or in violation of any of the provisions of this chapter.
