Sec. 2-2.701. - Purpose.¶
This Article establishes the California City Housing Authority.

Sec. 2-2.702. - Scope.¶
(a) The Authority shall fulfill the functions of a housing authority as authorized by Health and Safety Code Section 34200, et seq.
(b) Pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 34176, the Housing Authority of the City of California City is designated as the Successor to the Redevelopment Agency with respect to the housing assets and functions previously performed by the Redevelopment Agency. The Housing Authority shall commence to exist simultaneously with the dissolution of the Agency.
