Calexico Municipal Code Ch. 8.32 Enforcement of Food Regulations

All fees collected under Chapters 8.16 through 8.32 are for the purpose of regulation only, and shall not conflict in any way with any ordinance prescribing license fees or taxes for purposes of revenue.

The license fees collected under the provisions of Chapters 8.16 through 8.32 shall be paid into the general fund of the city.

Revocation of license as a penalty for violating the terms of Chapters 8.16 through 8.32 shall be optional with the commissioner of public safety, health, and welfare.

A. Any person, firm or corporation violating any provisions of Chapters 8.16 through 8.32 is guilty of a misdemeanor.

B. Every day that a violation of Chapters 8.16 through 8.32 is continued constitutes a separate offense.
