5.44.010 - License—Application.¶
The application for the license to conduct a transient carnival, circus, show or exhibition in the city must be filed in the office of the city clerk not less than twenty-one days prior to the proposed opening date and must describe the types of shows and concessions to be conducted.

5.44.020 - License—Prohibited games.¶
No games of chance, raffles or drawings for prizes will be permitted under any license granted to transient carnivals, circuses, shows or exhibitions.

5.44.030 - License—Establishment of fees.¶
The license fees for transient carnivals, circuses, shows and exhibitions shall be as set forth in Sections 5.20.380 through 5.20.420.

5.44.040 - License—Waiver of fees.¶
An applicant may apply for a permit fee waiver by submitting an application to the city manager as provided in Section 2.02.270.

5.44.050 - Cleanup deposit.¶
The management of any transient carnival, circus, show or exhibition shall deposit with the city clerk one hundred dollars to guarantee cleaning of the show site upon its departure. This deposit is only refundable upon report of the city health and sanitation inspector that the site has been satisfactorily cleaned within twenty-four hours after departure. If the report is negative, the one hundred dollars shall forfeit to the city.

5.44.060 - Deferred or percentage payments.¶
No transient carnival, circus, show or exhibition shall be allowed deferred payment of the fees required under this chapter and no share or percentage agreement in place of said fees is permissible.
