3.36.010 - Time limit—Statutory authority.

A. The board of supervisors shall not pass upon a claim presented against the county, under Chapter 4 of Division 3 of Title 3 of the Government Code of the state, unless it is filed with the clerk or the auditor of the county not fewer than five days prior to the time of the meeting of the supervisors at which it is asked to be allowed.

B. This section is adopted under and pursuant to the provisions of Section 29701 of the Government Code of the state.

3.36.020 - Exemption from state provisions.

Section 29701 of the Government Code of the state shall not apply to claims of public assistance withholding participants for refunds upon return of their coupon allotment.
