16.32.010 - Initiation of proceedings.

Proceedings for reversion to acreage may be initiated by the board of supervisors on its own motion or by petition of all of the owners of record of the real property within a subdivision.

16.32.020 - Petition form.

(§ 66499.11)

The petition shall be in a form prescribed by the county and shall contain the following:

A. Adequate evidence of title to the real property within the subdivision;

B. Sufficient data to enable the board of supervisors to make all of the determinations and findings required by Article 1 (commencing with Section 66499.11), Chapter 6, Division 2, Title 7 of the California Government Code;

C. A final map that delineates dedications that will not be vacated and dedications that are a condition to reversion;

D. Such other pertinent information as may be required by the county.

16.32.030 - Public hearing.

A public hearing shall be held on the proposed reversion to acreage, and notice thereof shall be given in the time and manner provided in Section 66451.3 of the California Government Code.

16.32.040 - Four or fewer parcels.

A. A parcel map shall be filed for the purpose of reverting land previously subdivided and consisting of four or fewer contiguous parcels under the same ownership, in accordance with Section 66499.20-1/2 of the Subdivision Map Act.

B. Approval of the tax collector shall be obtained prior to the filing of the parcel map.

16.32.050 - Resubdivision.

A. Subdivided land may be merged and resubdivided without reverting to acreage by complying with all of the applicable requirements of the subdivision of land as provided by this title, in accordance with Section 66499.20-3/4 of the Government Code.

B. Approval of the tax collector shall be obtained for such resubdividing of lands prior to the filing of the final or parcel map.
