16.13.010 - Amendment of maps.¶
(§ 66469)
After a final or parcel map has been recorded, it may be amended by a certificate of correction or an amended map as provided for in Title 7, Division 2, Chapter 3, Article 7, commencing with Section 66469 of the California Government Code.

16.13.020 - Amendment or revision of tentative maps.¶
(§ 66472.1)
If a subdivider intends to file for checking a final or parcel map that is not in substantial conformance with the tentative map, said subdivider shall submit a revised or amended tentative map to the planning commission for review. The county may require an additional fee to cover the costs of map review under this section.

16.13.030 - Modification of recorded map.¶
(§ 66472.1)
A. After a final map or parcel map is filed in the office of county recorder, such a recorded map may be modified by a certificate of correction or an amending map if the county surveyor finds that:
There are changes in circumstances which make any or all of the conditions of such a map no longer appropriate or necessary; and
The modifications do not impose any additional burden on the present fee owner of the property; and
The modifications do not alter any right, title or interest in the real property reflected on the recorded map; and
The commission finds that the map, as modified, conforms to the provisions of Government Code Section 66474.
B. If findings are not made in compliance with subsection A above, said modifications shall be subject to the review of the planning commission, or, on appeal, the board of supervisors, and a public hearing shall be held pursuant to the requirements of this title.

16.13.040 - Index of corrected maps.¶
(§ 66470)
A. Upon recordation of a certificate of correction, the county recorder shall, within sixty days of recording, transmit a certified copy to the county surveyor who shall maintain an index of recorded certificates of correction.
B. The county recorder may impose a fee, in addition to the fee charged for recording the certificate, to compensate the county surveyor for the cost of maintaining the index. The amount of this additional fee shall not exceed the cost of recording the original certificate.
