3001.1 Scope.¶
This chapter shall apply to the installation and operation of industrial ovens and furnaces. Industrial ovens and furnaces shall comply with the applicable provisions of the International Fuel Gas Code, the California Mechanical Code, NFPA 86, and this chapter. The terms “ovens” and “furnaces” are used interchangeably in this chapter.
3001.2 Permits.¶
Permits shall be required as set forth in Sections 105.5 and 105.6.
